Discipleship Classes
The Mission
The mission of our Discipleship Classes is to form spiritually grounded believers through biblical teaching, intentional practice, and life-giving community.
Our Discipleship Classes are for you if…
-
Explore your identity, purpose, and calling through the lens of Scripture in our Who Am I, Who Is God, & Who Is the Church? class.
-
Discover practical, biblical ways to pray and worship with confidence, freedom, and authenticity in our How Do I Pray & Worship? class.
-
Gain tools to read, study, and apply Scripture with clarity and confidence in our How Do I Read the Word? class.
-
Learn how prayer, worship, and Scripture work together to help you recognize and respond to God’s leading.
-
Discipleship happens best in community, and these classes are designed to help you grow together through conversation, teaching, and practice.
-
Discipleship provides space to examine rhythms, priorities, and practices through a Christ-centered lens.
About
Each Crosspoint Discipleship Class is a focused, two-hour learning experience designed to deepen spiritual formation and biblical understanding for anyone seeking to grow in their faith. Through guided teaching, Scripture engagement, and practical application, participants will strengthen their theological foundation, develop meaningful spiritual rhythms, and grow in maturity within the life of the local church. Each of our three classes is offered over three consecutive weeks, allowing participants to take one course or complete all three in a continuous, structured discipleship pathway.
Our Classes
Here are our current classes being offered:
-
Discover how your identity in Christ, your understanding of God, and your place in the Church shape the way you live and follow Jesus.
-
Develop a more intentional and biblically grounded prayer and worship life that deepens intimacy with God and shapes daily spiritual rhythms.
-
Learn how to engage Scripture with clarity and confidence by understanding biblical context, interpretation, and practical application.
-
We begin each class by sharing a simple meal together. This time is intentionally unhurried and centered on building relationships, welcoming one another, and creating space for meaningful conversation.
-
After the meal, we’ll gather as a group for a brief welcome and prayer. This moment helps us transition from conversation to focus, sets the tone for the night, and introduces the theme and direction for the session.
-
Each session includes Scripture-centered teaching designed to help us grow in understanding and faith. Teaching may include multiple passages, themes, or practices, along with moments for reflection or shared insight. The goal is not just information, but formation… learning to think, live, and respond as disciples of Jesus.
-
Following the teaching, we’ll spend time in guided table discussions. These conversations allow space to reflect, ask questions, and process what we’re learning alongside others. This is a core part of discipleship and where growth often happens most naturally.
-
We end each class by turning learning into action. Together, we’ll identify practical next steps—simple practices, rhythms, or challenges—to carry into everyday life during the week ahead.
-
We close in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to help us live out what we’ve learned, and leave encouraged to continue growing as disciples.
